Book Review: The Topkapi Secret

The Topkapi Secret: A Novel

The Topkapi Secret, by Terry Kelhawk is a novel about murder, suspense and intrigue, and "what the characters learn about the Koran could change the world...or cost them their lives"

This is a book that takes you on an adventure as you learn about the Koran and it's secrets and when a very old cover-up is revealed you hold your breath as you wait to see if Mohammed and Angela will survive.  How much do we really know about the Koran, would learning more be beneficial or deathly?  I think of our own life here and now, are there some things we cover up, and if they were to be revealed what would the consequences be?

I enjoyed the creativity of The Topkapi Secret and the thoughts it invoked as well as the adventure and enjoyment of 'traveling' through unknown lands, the author, Terry Kelhawk has done some research here!  This was an interesting read that could have turned rather dull for me if not for the adventure, I don't know much about the Koran and found this book an interesting way to learn more.  It's more fun to learn when you don't realize you're doing so!

If the never ending, lurking death does not keep your interest, traveling through the Middle East, and North Africa and well as a bit of romance should do the job!
